Our Free WEEE collection process is very straight forward and simple. We offer a number of ways to help that are sure to meet your requirements. To help us organise your free collection with maximum efficiency, please complete our 'Need a Collection' form and we will contact you with the best solution tailored to you.One off or AD HOC collection
For most of our clients we collect as and when required, usually in response to an email or telephone request. This can normally be arranged within one week of a request being made. This timescale is usually ideal, as it allows time for all parties to prepare and organize for the items to be collected. If you need any Electrical Waste collecting urgently – just call us and we'll do our best to collect is as a matter of urgency.Scheduled collections
Our scheduled collection service is very simple, we will leave a container with you and you can deposit the Electrical Waste items for recycling into it. On a regular basis we will visit and remove the Electrical Waste within the container. We can offer this as a short contract, for instance during an upgrade program or for a longer contract where items for recycling are continually generated.If you would like more information or would be interested in the option of an ongoing contract, please contact us. What happens next?
When we collect the Electrical Waste Equipment we take it into our storage facility where it enters our rigorous programme of reuse, recycle and recover. This process insures every item is reused - some-way, some-how. All equipment will undergo stringent checks with all hard drives and all data being totally and securely destroyed. Any tags relating to previous owners are removed. The Electrical Waste Equipment is then generally sorted and broken down into their component parts and bagged up for material reclamation and recycling.Typical Electrical Waste Equipment recycled will include PCs, laptops, monitors, keyboards, mice and printers also any other electrical and electronic items including communications equipment. All equipment being remarketed is thoroughly tested, cleaned and packaged ready for the next user.
Our Waste Carrier License number is TSE/388119/CB. Greenline Computer Recycling have a zero tolerance landfill policy wherever possible, giving you security in the knowledge that your waste electrical and electronic equipment is being handled in the best way possible.
All IT related hardware collected by Greenline will have the liability transferred from your company to Greenline to enable you to write off from Asset Registers.
A destruction certificate and/or certificate for recycling are issued upon completion.
