Prior to collection, you should provide a full list of your collection requirements, Greenline will provide an Excel template for this purpose on request. After collection a detailed inventory will be supplied giving details of where every item has been destroyed and recycled or redistributed.

All IT hardware collected by Greenline will have the liability transferred from your company to Greenline to enable you to write off from Asset registers.

This service is free of charge.

Recycling

Greenline operate on zero tolerance land fill basis wherever possible. Equipment collected is desposed of in a number of WEEE compliant ways.

At the start of the process, all company identifying tags of any kind are removed.

All data is wiped to a standard that meets with the requirements of the Commissioners Office. In the unlikely event that the data cannot be wiped, the device will be mechanically destroyed.

Equipment that is serviceable or salvageable may be refurbished for redistribution.

Some equipment will be stripped down into spare parts and redistributed as spares.

Once equipment has been stripped, all raw materials will be sent for recycling i.e. plastic, glass, cabling etc.
